Definitely going to check out a few of these picks (the Pilot Juice Up! the Zebra Sarasa vintage 5-pack! [I've used Zebra Sarasa highlighters for years but have never thought to try this lovely pack of unusual, dark colored pens]) I have used Muji gel pens nearly exclusively for 15 years (!) but I hate how, as of late, they only stock the retractable versions in-store. The new(ish?) body of that style is so slippery and thicker than their old capped pens, which makes it really unpleasant to my hand. Their new capped pens are slightly thicker, too, but at least the texture of the body retains some of the original grippiness. I have continued to use them but, as a fellow pen obsessive, I so appreciate this roundup and look forward to trying a few new options :)
I’d been a Pilot gal for yearssss and lemme tell you, they don’t make ‘em like they used to. Final straw was one leaking in my favorite leather tote, and I was done. Long live wooden pencils and a classic sharpener!
