This week I toured the Weisman Art Foundation in Beverly Hills, a Mediterranean-style mansion that was the former residence of LA businessman Frederick R. Weisman. Between the 1940s until his death in 1994, Weisman and his first wife Marcia were prolific collectors, with every room absolutely packed to the gills with so many significant works that it’s honestly boring to list them out (…and it’s only Fred’s half; he and Marcia divorced at some point and flipped a coin to divvy up their favorites).
