May Prompts for Momentary Phases

Hi buddies,

No plan, just up to the neck in muck. Time moves fast.

I’ve been in a season of burning through phases — everything slipping through my fingers before I can attempt to discern its relevance. Yet maybe an awareness of the moment is lesson enough.

“To be interested in the changing seasons…is a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with spring,” wrote George Santayana in Reason in Art (he also declared “those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,” but I’m selectively quoting, okay?!)

To embracing what’s temporary now, that we might be better equipped for savoring at a later date.
